Rieslingfreak No.9 Sekt Riesling is a sparkling wine made with fruit selected from the coolest site of the Hughes family's White Hut property in the Clare Valley.

The fruit ripens slowly with high natural acidity and is harvested early. The juice ferments to sugar dryness, then is left on lees for a short period to develop complex flavours.

In the méthode traditionnelle style, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle. It is then stored on yeast lees for 30-36 months before it is prepared for release.

Pale straw, Rieslingfreak No.9 Sekt Riesling is a dry and aromatic sparkling wine with yeasty characters from its time on lees. Best soon after release.
